The health complex and open-air ice rink were built on the bank of the Taedong River under the warm care of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The Supreme Leader visited again the Ryugyong Health Complex and the People's Open-air Ice Rink which were near completion in July Juche 101 (2012), regardless of sultry weather.

He went round the resting hall, face treatment room, public bath, barber's room and other places of the Ryugyong Health Complex to correct shortcomings.

And he said that builders should work meticulously until the completion of the complex with the consciousness that there can be no satisfaction in the work for the people.

Visiting the People's Open-air Ice Rink, he was very pleased to see the people skating on the ice in the hottest period of summer.

He said that substance is more important than form as the health complex and the open-air ice rink are gifts provided by the Party for the people.

He requested the officials to complete the construction perfectly and left the spot where darkness sets in.

Kim Ok Ran, a Pyongyang citizen, in an interview with KCNA at the Ryugyong Health Complex said that her family members are its regular customers.
