Swimming Contest of Public Officials Held

Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- A swimming contest of officials of commissions, ministries and national institutions was held in the DPRK on July 24-31 on the occasion of the months for maritime physical culture, July and August.

In the team event held divided into four groups, officials of the Ministry of Land and Marine Transport, the Foreign Trade Bank, Tin Ming Alan Commercial Center and the Academy of Medical Science took the first place.

In the individual event held divided into three categories, officials of the Central Committee of the Journalists Union of Korea, the General Bureau for Affairs with Diplomatic Corps and the Foreign Trade Bank came first.
