DPRK Players Prove Successful in Int'l Judo Game

| Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) -- DPRK players won two gold medals, one silver and two bronzes in the Asian-Oceanian Cadets and Junior Judo Championships 2019. Players Kim Hyon A and Ri Chong Mi bagged gold medals in the juvenile women's 52kg category and 57kg category respectively. Mun Song Hui took the second place in the juvenile women's 57kg category and Kwon Kum Chong the third in the junior men's 50kg category. Ri Kum Song won a bronze medal in the junior men's 66kg category. The championships held in Taipei, China brought together 310-odd ace men and women players from 26 countries and region including the DPRK, Mongolia and India. DPRK players returned home on Saturday. |
