S. Koreans Urge Japan to Atone for Past Crimes
Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) -- Citizens of Pusan, south Korea held a rally outside the Japanese Consulate General in the city on July 31, according to the south Korean internet newspaper minplusnews.

The participants mourned those who were killed after being drafted for forced labor and sexual slavery for the imperial Japanese army.

Speakers there said that the growing anti-Japanese sentiments in south Korea are an expression of anger at Japan which has revealed its wild ambition for invasion, far from reflecting on its untold war crimes.

Recalling that south Koreans voluntarily join the anti-Japanese campaign like boycott against goods from Japan, they urged the Japanese businesses involved in war crimes to accept the verdict of the supreme court that found them guilty of unprecedented human rights abuses and acts against humanity.

Then the participants encircled the consulate general and urged Japan to make an apology and reparation for the past crimes.
