Japan's Apology and Reparation Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- A citizens' meeting for denouncing Japan took place in Jonju City, North Jolla Province of south Korea on August 8, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Tongil News.

At the meeting, a letter to the chief executive of Japan was read out.

The letter said the Japanese government should stop at once the economic retaliation and make an apology and reparation to the victims and expressed the will to fight it out.

The participants in the meeting launched a signature campaign for settling the issue of conscript labor forced by the Japanese imperialists upon Koreans after looking round propaganda literatures showing the testimony of victims of the forced labor and Japan's denial of past crimes.
