In the first days of his revolutionary struggle, the President indicated the immutable truth that independence is the lifeline of the popular masses, country and nation and in order to win independence it is necessary to reject flunkeyism and dogmatism and make a revolution independently and creatively.

In his works published in the period of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, he consistently stressed that the Korean people are responsible for the Korean revolution and the Korean revolutionaries should wage the revolutionary struggle in accordance with their own faith and lead the Korean revolution to victory on the basis of their own revolutionary forces.

In order to defend the Juche line, he organized the Dahuangwai Meeting from February 24 to March 3, 1935, and rescued the Korean revolution from the crisis.

At the meeting to oppose the narrow-minded national egoism and establish the Juche in the Korean revolution, he refuted the nonsensical opinion of the left-wingers with scientific reason and data.

His resolute independent spirit is fully reflected in the unique lines and policies set forth at such historical meetings as the meeting at Mingyuegou in the winter of Juche 20 (1931) and the Nanhutou meeting.

The whole course of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle proved the truth that the sovereignty of the country and the nation should be obtained and defended by the nation's own force and indomitable struggle.
