They left Hyesan for Pochonbo, where they placed a floral basket and bouquets and made a bow before the statue of President Kim Il Sung on the shore of Stream Karim.

They made rounds of the command post of the Battle of Pochonbo, the Police Sub-station and other places of the Pochonbo Revolutionary Battle Site.

Learning about the feats of Chairman Kim Jong Il who pioneered the tour of revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu and turned the area of Mt Paektu into a large open air museum for education in revolutionary traditions, they toured the Spring Site in Poso-ri, the Tableland of Junghung, the Rimyongsu Revolutionary Site and Chongbong and Konchang bivouacs.

They held an oath-taking meeting in the plaza before the statue of Kim Jong Il in Samjiyon County.

They toured the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station, Sinsadong Revolutionary Battle Site and the Monument to the Victorious Battle of Musan Area where they made round of groups of large subsidiary theme sculptures looking up to the legendary hero of the anti-Japanese war.

Then they climbed Mt Paektu, the holy mountain of revolution, before visiting Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp.

They also visited Kwangson Photographic Studio, Sokjon Tailor's, etc. in the Sinpha Revolutionary Site.

During the tour, they gave a helping hand to sprucing up Samjiyon County and conducted colorful political and cultural activities, including a contest of singing revolutionary songs in chorus while marching in array and a meeting to hear impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerillas.
