DPRK players proved successful in the ITTF Asian Para Championships 2019 held in Chinese Taipei from July 23 to 27.

Jon Ju Hyon and Kim Yong Rok bagged gold medals in the team event (TT6-TT7) and Jon Ju Hyon a bronze medal in the individual event (TT6).

The ITTF Para Table Tennis Bangkok Open 2019, held in Thailand on August 8-10, brought together more than 130 men and women players from 21 countries and regions including the DPRK, Russia, Indonesia, India, Germany and Hong Kong of China.

In team event (TT6-TT7), Jon Ju Hyon and Kim Yong Rok defeated all their rivals 2:0 to win the first place.

And Jon Ju Hyon placed the first in individual event (TT6) and Kim Yong Rok third in individual event (TT7).
