S. Korean Organizations Demand Dissolution of LKP

| Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, the People's Solidarity for Sovereignty and the Students' Vanguard for Reunification held a press conference outside the building of the Taegu City branch of the "Liberal Korea Party" (LKP) on August 10 to demand the dissolution of the LKP, a political party of traitors, according to the south Korean internet paper Jaju Sibo. Speakers denounced the LKP coteries, descendants of pro-Japanese elements, for having served the U.S. They said that they can not pardon the LKP, a political party of traitors, as it infringes upon the sovereignty of the people and only seeks its interests. They stressed that the LKP should be dissolved through the ongoing anti-Japanese struggle so that it could not appear at the "National Assembly" again. |
