Displayed at the venue of the exhibition are 300-odd research achievements and products presented by at least 50 units including industrial establishments under commissions, ministries, national institutions, scientific and educational institutions and every provincial people's committee.

The exhibition is to be held, divided into the sectors of furniture, architectural decoration and furniture layout, in the forms of display of products and exchange of new technologies and products.

Present at the opening ceremony were Pak Thae Song, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned, officials of those units taking part in the exhibition and working people.

The exhibition will last until August 26.
