Attending the seminar were Kim Hyon Il, vice general director of the Trademark, Industrial Design and Geographical Indication Office of the DPRK, officials of ministries, national institutions and relevant units, and Alexandra Grazioli, director of the Lisbon Registry of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Speeches and discussions were made there.

Speakers expressed their expectation that the seminar would serve as an occasion to develop close cooperation and bonds between the Trademark, Industrial Design and Geographical Indication Office of the DPRK and the WIPO.

They explained the importance and significance of the protection of geographical indications and the trend and tendency of its development.
