An art performance was given by the State Merited Chorus at the People's Theatre.

The performance began with prelude "General Is Great Defender" and "General of Korea".

Put on the stage were numbers including male quartet "Snow Falls on Road to Front", mixed duet "Tell, O Road of Songun", orchestra and male chorus "Thinking of General", male solo and male chorus "Peace Is Guaranteed by Our Arms".

The performers sang highly of Chairman Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits.

The National Symphony Orchestra gave a concert at the Moranbong Theatre and artistes of the Phibada Opera Troupe presented a collection of famous songs and scenes at the Pyongyang Grand Theatre.

The drama "Blood Vessel" was given at the National Theatre.

Circus and magic performances were given at the Pyongyang Circus Theater and the jugglery theatre of the National Acrobatic Troupe.

Performances were given at theatres and squares of North Phyongan, North Hwanghae, Jagang and other provinces of the country.
