Thanks to the devoted efforts of its builders, the construction of railways between Sokthangonchon and Onjong stations and the building of a new railway station have reached the final stage.

Completed were the construction of tens of small structures and railway bridges, and the framework, roofing and external and internal plastering of the new station.

Meanwhile, builders finished the construction of roadbed extending from the township of Yangdok to the hot spring resort by driving a tunnel through.

Works for laying rails, building revetments, covering the station with tiles and rezoning of surroundings are now under way.
