National Exhibition of Sci-Tech Achievements in Field of Library Held

| Hamhung, August 29 (KCNA) -- The national exhibition of sci-tech achievements in the field of library was held at Hamhung University of Chemical Industry from August 27 to 29 under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea. Attending the exhibition were officials, librarians, graduate students, etc. in the field of library in Pyongyang and other parts of the country. Presented to it were proposals highly appreciated by Pyongyang City and each province and more than 80 scientific essays submitted by over 30 units like Kim Il Sung University, the State Academy of Sciences, Kim Chaek University of Technology, the Sci-Tech Complex and the Grand People's Study House. Also exhibited there were scientific and technological achievements gained in putting libraries and Mirae e-Library on a modern basis and their management and operation. The exhibition included scientific and experience presentation and training course. |
