The papers say that the conference serves as an important occasion in raising the level of overall education in the country and bringing about a radical improvement in education in the Korean way, adding that the conference is to analyze and review the successes and experience gained in education in recent years and to discuss issues for bringing about a revolutionary turn in the education as required by the times and the developing reality.

They note that the socialist education in the DPRK has steadily developed thanks to the Juche-oriented idea of education and energetic leadership of the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu.

They stress that today the Juche-oriented education in the DPRK has entered a new high stage of its development under the guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Rodong Sinmun says that it is the steadfast will of Kim Jong Un to add eternal luster to the Juche-oriented idea of education and leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and usher in a golden age in building a socialist education.
