Head of DPRK Government Delegation Meets Russian Deputy PM

Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- Ri Ryong Nam, vice-premier of the Cabinet who took part in the 5th Oriental Economic Forum held in Vladivostok of Russia as head of a delegation of the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Thursday met and had a talk with Yuri Trutnev, deputy prime minister of the Russian Federation who is presidential envoy to the Far East Federal Region.

Yuri Trutnev said that the Russian government attaches importance to the friendly relations with the DPRK and affirmed that he would make all efforts for the development of the economic cooperation between the two countries in the future, too.

Present there were members of the DPRK government delegation, the DPRK consul general in Vladivostok and the minister of Development of the Far East and Arctic and a vice foreign minister of the Russian Federation.

During his stay, Ri Ryong Nam respectively met with Alexandr Kozlov, minister of Development of the Far East and Arctic of the Russian Federation, and Oleg Kozhemyako, governor of the Maritime Territory Administration.
