Lao Party Delegation Visits Paektusan Secret Camp

| Samjiyon, September 11 (KCNA) -- The delegation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) led by Phankham Viphavanh, member of the Political Bureau of the LPRP Central Committee, permanent secretary of the Secretariat of the LPRP Central Committee and vice-president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, visited Chairman Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp on Wednesday. The guests laid bouquets at a mosaic mural depicting the peerlessly great persons at Kim Jong Il's Birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp and paid tribute to them. The members of the delegation who visited the holy place of revolution made rounds of historic relics persevered in the old home, being briefed that Kim Jong Il, who was born as the Shining Star of Mt Paektu and grew up, hearing gun reports during the great anti-Japanese war, performed the immortal exploits before the country and humankind. Earlier, they toured Mt Paektu. |
