Present there were teachers, researchers, field officials and postgraduates from ten odd units including Pyongyang Jang Chol Gu University of Commerce, Phyongbuk University, Koryo Songgyungwan University and the Institute of the Commercial Science.

At least 230 valuable papers were presented to the symposium which was divided into six panels including the public catering panel.

At the symposium, the participants made public the research successes made in the work for putting the public service on a scientific, modern and IT basis and exchanged their experience.

A closing ceremony took place on Thursday.
