The event was attended by scientists, technicians, teachers, researchers and postgraduates of more than 10 units including Kye Ung Sang Agricultural College of Kim Il Sung University, Wonsan University of Agriculture, Kim Je Won Haeju University of Agriculture and the Academy of Agricultural Science.

More than 300 treatises on successes gained in the course of the deep study for solving the problems of seed, fertilizer and water and tackling the issue of increasing the mechanizing rate in farming under domestic conditions were presented to the event, divided into various panels.

There was a lecture on the latest crop cultivation methods and technology and the trend of microbial insecticide development.
