Hoeryong Revolutionary Site Visited by Endless Stream of People
Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- More than 16.65 million working people, servicepersons of the People's Army, youth and students, overseas compatriots and foreign guests have visited the Hoeryong Revolutionary Site in the last five decades since the statue of Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese war heroine, was erected at the foot of Osan Hill on September 22, Juche 58 (1969).

Her old home, the shallow well, the Mangyang Ferry and other historical buildings, relics and data are preserved at the site.

This year has witnessed the visit by lots of working people, servicepersons of the People's Army and youth and students.

They made round of the historical mementoes at the old home, being told that she who was born into a patriotic and revolutionary family embarked upon the road of struggle in her teens, keenly feeling misfortune and bitterness of the homeless fellow countrymen.

Overseas compatriots and foreign guests who visited the site highly praised Kim Jong Suk for setting a brilliant example of defending the leader unto death and made a great contribution to the revolutionary cause of Juche.
