Bodyguard Loyal to President Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- The Korean people are praising the anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk, who was boundlessly loyal to President Kim Il Sung, as his eternal bodyguard.

In the days of the anti-Japanese armed struggle, Kim Jong Suk defended the safety of the President with her life.

She shot down enemies to rescue the President from an imminent crisis at the battle of Fusong county town in August Juche 25 (1936). And at the Hongqihe battle in March 1940, she lured enemies, who sneaked into the headquarters, into the opposite direction to annihilate them.

In particular, her spirit of defending the leader unto death was fully displayed at the battle in Dashahe gully.

Regarding the truth that the revolution is precisely the protection of the leader, she rejected a counter-revolutionist's sophistry at a secret camp in February 1939 and firmly defended the strategic and tactical policy of the President.

There are also many stories showing her noble spiritual world for the safety of the President. Among them are the stories about the silk cotton-padded overcoat, hot meal prepared with emergency rice and wet cloth dried with her temperature in severe winter.

After Korea's liberation from Japan's colonial rule, she helped the work of the President until the last day of her life, postponing the meeting with her relatives.

September 22 this year is the 70th anniversary of her demise.
