On display at the exhibition are more than 800 musical instruments of 50 kinds, including national music instruments favored by the Korean people and popular instruments, and at least 700 spare parts and consumables of over 40 kinds.

The exhibition includes such diverse events as experience-sharing for making musical instruments and concert.

Present at the opening ceremony were officials concerned, officials, researchers and makers of musical instrument production units, overseas compatriots and foreign guests who presented musical instruments to the exhibition.

At the end of the ceremony the participants in the exhibition went round its venue.

The exhibition will last till September 30.
