Badminton Competition among Aged People and Amateurs Held

| Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- There took place a badminton competition among aged people and amateurs in Pyongyang at the Badminton Gymnasium in Chongchun Street from Sept. 23 to 26 on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons. The contest was held divided into men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles of aged people and men's and women's singles of amateurs. Successful players were awarded medals and certificates. Among the audience were Choe Il Hong, vice-chairman of the Korea Federation for the Care of the Aged, Pyongyangites, members of foreign embassies and missions of international bodies here. |
