The letter said that the festival, held amid sincere efforts and cooperation of ace film workers of the DPRK and the world, served as a significant occasion for deepening the friendly bonds among film workers of different countries and propelling the development of national films.

It noted that the success in the festival is entirely attributable to the careful and deep concern of Kim Jong Un despite his state political timetable.

The letter said the participants are satisfied to see that the festival attained its goal and discharged its mission and extend sincere thanks to Kim Jong Un.

The letter expressed the conviction that the Korean people would surely achieve their excellent goal and materialize their ideal, saying that though their sojourn in Pyongyang is not long, they have witnessed the indomitable spirit and diligent character of the heroic Korean people vigorously advancing to build a socialist power, single-mindedly united around Kim Jong Un.

The letter stressed that the participants will as ever create good films instructing justice and truth to take active part in the Pyongyang International Film Festival and thus bring the idea of independence, peace and friendship into full bloom.
