Present there on invitation were honorary guests, delegations and delegates of different countries who took part in the festival and international judges.

Attending the reception were Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Cha Hui Rim, chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee, Jong Yong Nam, director-general of the National Administration of Motion Picture Industry and chairman of the festival organizing committee, and officials concerned.

A speech was made at the reception.
