S. Korean Body Calls for Uprooting Deep-seated Evils in Judicial Field

Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) -- The April 16 Families Council issued a statement on Sept. 25 in demand of the eradication of the deep-rooted evils in the judicial field through prosecution reform, according to the south Korean online paper Voice of Seoul.

The statement blasted the prosecution for describing the ferry Sewol disaster as an accident caused by carelessness in order to cover up the truth behind the disaster when it occurred.

The statement said that the prosecution is still making a mockery of the south Korean people on the side of the "Liberal Korea Party", and called for prosecution reform for uprooting the deep-seated evils as soon as possible.
