According to Ri Se Duk, vice department director of the Ministry of Culture, the State Musical Instrument Research Institute, the Pyongyang Traditional Musical Instrument Factory and other units presented 470-odd musical instruments of 26 kinds including jangsaenap and tanso at the exhibition.

What drew attention of the participants and experts are updated janggu (hourglass drum), gong, oungum and high-pitched flute.

Ding Peng, secretary general of the Accordion Association of Musicians in China, told KCNA that it is the third time for him to take part in the exhibition and he always feels the new change of the Korean musical instruments at the exhibition.
