Workers' Art Group of C.C., GFTUK Gives Performance

Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Art Group of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) gave an art performance at the Central Hall of Workers on Monday in celebration of the 22nd anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the 74th founding anniversary of the WPK.

Staged at the performance started with narration "We have the great party" were female solo and pangchang "Ode to Comrade Kim Jong Il", female chorus "Let's Sing of General Dear to People", etc.

Performers highly praised Kim Jong Il for developing the WPK into a revolutionary party, in which the leader's ideology and guidance system is firmly established, and into an invincible party which has taken firm hold upon the popular masses, and for always leading the party to victory.

Also put on the stage were narration "Great Mother", female solo "Girl Riding on Galloping Steed", etc.

Among the audience were Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the WPK, Ju Yong Gil, chairman of the GFTUK Central Committee, officials concerned, officials of the GFTUK and working people.
