In the message Zhuganov extended his heartfelt felicitations to Kim Jong Un, all the members of the WPK and all the Korean people on the occasion of the 74th founding anniversary of the WPK.

The message said: The WPK founded by Comrade Kim Il Sung, leader of the Korean people, has struggled to unite the people and achieve independence and progress of socialism as the guiding force of the nation.

The message noted that the DPRK has made eye-opening achievements in the fields of science, industry and culture and put the country's defence capabilities on a new stage under the leadership of the WPK.

The wellbeing of the Korean people has been improved and the ideological and moral development goes on, the message pointed out.

The working people of the DPRK who remain faithful to the Party's line and leaders' behests are invariably advancing along the road of building a prosperous socialist society, the message said.
