Students and graduates of Yonsei University of south Korea held a rally outside the university on Oct. 10, where they criticized the traitor for spouting rubbish that the victims of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army had their human rights abused at their own choice.

As students posted articles demanding Ryu's apology on billboard, the campaign criticizing the pro-Japanese element has also been launched at the university.
