Presented to it were more than 1040 sports scientific and technological achievements such as programs, sports goods, measuring apparatuses, sports medicines and nutrients and books and papers of sports science and technology which were studied and developed by at least 300 units including the Academy of Sports Science, Korea University of Physical Education, the Pyongyang Sports Goods Factory, sports teams and juvenile sports schools across the country.

Attending the opening-ceremony were Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea who is chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee, Ri Ryong Nam, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned, officials of the exhibiting units and working people.

The exhibition will last until October 23.
