The meeting brought together officials, scientists and technicians of the foodstuff industry and relevant units and Chinese experts in foodstuff industry. Exhibited there were famous products and commodities including foodstuff materials, additives, intellectual products, spice, beverages and processed goods presented by the DPRK and different countries of the world.

Exchanged were successes and experience achieved in the food production at the meeting which was held in the forms of technological presentation and seminar and presentation and investment trade interview for new technology and goods.

Through the meeting the participants made deeper understanding of scientific and technological problems arising in guaranteeing food safety and improving quality, and the world trend of foodstuff development and the food safety standard.
