The exhibition will wage in the forms of product exhibition and sci-tech presentation.

Presented to it are more than 182500 products of at least 1300 kinds from over 50 units including the Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory, the Ryuwon Footwear Factory, the shoe-making institute of the Management Bureau for the Shoe-making Industry and Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry, and scores of researching findings made in the field of footwear industry.

Attending the ceremony were Vice-Premier Im Chol Ung, Minister of Light Industry Choe Il Ryong, officials concerned, officials of the exhibiting units, researchers, technicians, postgraduate students, three-revolution team members and workers.

The exhibition will last until October 24.
