Paek Sol Hui was born as a daughter of a day-laborer before the liberation of Korea. It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated Korea that she could live a genuine life.

She graduated from Kim Il Sung University and devoted her youth and domestic happiness to the study of a new species of oil crop.

Kim Tal Yong studied under the care of the Party to be a health worker. He made and introduced many national inventions and technical innovation schemes conducive to bringing about progress in ophthalmic treatment.

Many patients have recovered their sight thanks to his efforts. And he has conducted preventive and curative medical treatment activities at production sites.
