Talks between Chairman of SPA and Chairwoman of Russian Federation Council

Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- Talks were held between Pak Thae Song, chairman of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) who is leading the SPA delegation on a visit to Russia, and Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko, chairwoman of the Russian Federation Council, at the building of the Federation Council on Monday.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the issue of further developing the bilateral relations in the spirit of the historic DPRK-Russia summit meeting and the issues of mutual concern.

Present there from the DPRK side were members of the delegation and the charge d'affaires a.i. of the DPRK embassy in Moscow, and from the opposite side the chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian Federation Council and others concerned.
