Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says this in an editorial.

Noting that self-reliance is the bedrock of the existence of Korean-style socialism, the motive power of its advance and development and the eternal lifeline essential to the destiny of the Korean revolution, the editorial goes on:

No one can help us and wants us being well-off. Now it is the height of folly to expect other's help.

Ceaseless difficulties face us and we suffer a lot of shortages. But they can never be stumbling block to our advance.

We have capacities and foundation for self-reliant development provided by our strenuous efforts for decades. We can overcome the present difficulties and open an avenue of prosperity with our own efforts, if we make the good use of our production potential and economic foundation.

The editorial calls upon all the people to vigorously advance toward a new victory of socialist construction along the immutable course of self-reliant prosperity, set forth by the Workers' Party of Korea.
