National Heritage Conservation Work Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- A work for protecting national heritages has been conducted on a mass scale in the DPRK. Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un published the famous work "National Heritage Conservation Is a Patriotic Undertaking for Adding Brilliance to the History and Traditions of Our Nation" on October 24, Juche 103 (2014) to encourage all the people to turn out in this work. Pyongyang City finished the large-sized Rangnang Museum construction and spruced up historical relics and natural monuments in Mangyongdae and Moranbong areas. Kangwon Province restored to the original state the eight buildings at Sokwang Temple in liaison with teachers and researchers of Pyongyang University of Architecture. Kaesong City repaired the Kaesong Walls, one of the world cultural heritages, and restored Taesong Shrine and Myongryun Hall at Koryo Songgyungwan Academy. Similar works were conducted in other provinces and cities of the country. |
