The project for building 300 semi-vaulted hydroponic greenhouses with double-walls made of plastic sheets, 50-odd blocks of dwelling houses and over 100 public buildings has been carried out at the final stage. Also, nearing completion are scores of construction projects including sapling cultivation ground covering tens of hectares, circular cutting bed, experimental district for acclimatization and seed-gathering ground.

The greenhouse farm and nursery are to be built as modern labor- and energy-saving bases.

Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un visited the farm some days ago, saying that the farm should make full preparations for running the greenhouses to produce vegetables simultaneously from the next year.
