There were a DPRK-China friendship culture exhibition in Dandong City, Liaoning Province, and DPRK culture exhibitions in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province and Harbin and Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province.

Seen at the exhibition venues were photos dealing with the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un for the development of the DPRK-China friendship.

Also on display were works of the peerlessly great men and other Korean books, photos showing the development of the DPRK and art pieces associated with the creative talent of the Korean people.

Present at the opening ceremonies of the exhibitions were figures of various circles and masses of the above said areas, staff members of the DPRK missions in Shenyang and Dandong and others.

Speeches were made at the ceremonies.

Warmly congratulating the 74th founding anniversary of the WPK and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the DPRK, the vice-president of the Chinese Artists Association who doubles as president of the Liaoning Provincial Artists Association, said that to hold culture exhibitions on the significant occasions is of an important significance in developing cultural exchange between the two countries and further deepening the feelings of friendship between the peoples of China and the DPRK.

The president of the Chinese Calligraphic Artists Association noted that the China-DPRK friendship forged by Chairman Mao Zedong and President Kim Il Sung is now further developing by the top leaders of the two countries, adding that the future of the China-DPRK friendship is rosy.
