S. Korean Bodies Call for Eliminating Conservative Evils

Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Progress, the Joint Council of Civic and Public Organizations, the Confederation of Trade Unions, the Federation of Peasants Associations and other civic and public organizations of south Korea held a press conference at the Kwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul on Oct. 28 to pledge to get the conservative evils thoroughly undone in the spirit of candlelight resistance, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Tongil News.

The bodies said in a press release that the candlelight resistance attended by up to 17 million civilians was aimed at utterly wiping out all evils against democracy, people's living and peace left by the conservative forces and at building a genuine world where grassroots people become the master.

The participants called upon everyone to turn out in the spirit of the candlelight resistance and struggle to build a world where the toiling masses become the master.
