Demonstration Waged against U.S. Pressure for Increasing Upkeep of Its Army in S. Korea

Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- Civic and Public Organizations of south Korea launched a demonstration against increasing upkeep of the U.S. troops in south Korea, according to the south Korean internet paper Jaju Sibo.

The People's Joint Action and the People's Action for Peace against War began a demonstration from Oct. 29 outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul.

The demonstrators denounced the U.S. gangster-like demand for increasing the upkeep of its army in south Korea, saying that the U.S. troops should immediately be pulled out of south Korea instead of the negotiations on the upkeep.

The people from all walks of life are launching a protest against the U.S. amid the anger of all the people against its pressure for increasing the upkeep, said the paper.
