S. Koreans Protest U.S. Unjust Proposal
Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- Public organizations of south Korea such as the committee for study of U.S. forces' presence in south Korea of the Bar Association for Democratic Society, the People's Solidarity for the Revision of Unequal South Korea-U.S. "Status of Forces Agreement" and the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification held a press conference outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul on Oct. 30 to protest the unjust moves of the U.S. to revise the "note on allies' crisis control."

A press release was read out.

It charged that the U.S. is trying to extend the sphere of allies' crisis control to contingency in the U.S. from that of the Korean peninsula through the revision of the "note".

If the revision is carried out, the U.S. can urge south Korea to dispatch troops wherever it wants at will, it held, deploring that this would lead to frequent unreasonable dispatches of south Korean army to America-led wars of aggression.

It urged the regime to boycott the negotiations for revision and opt for contributing to peace, prosperity and reunification of the Korean peninsula.
