In this regard, Kong Ryong Hyon, secretary general of the Korean Nano Technology Association, told KCNA:

Presented to the exhibition were 70-odd kinds of nanotechnology products and numbers of scientific research papers.

The Nano Engineering Branch of the State Academy of Sciences made several research findings like super hydrophobic nano fabric and technology for processing granite joint and protecting granite.

The Nano Physics Institute of Kim Chaek University of Technology exhibited such products as three-layered ozone generator, power control unit, and backwashing nano tripper.

The Agricultural Nano Technology Institute under the Academy of Agricultural Science presented more than 10 proposals and products, including nano germicide for farming, nano herbicide, nano insecticide, functional nano plastic sheet for farming, nano-silicon fertilizer and nano bio-growth promoter.

The exhibition showed the development of nanotechnology in the country and served as a significant occasion in sharing experience in the creation of nano-technology industry.
