The message expressed the expectation and belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would continue to develop on good terms, wishing the government and people of Cambodia greater success in their work for the development and prosperity of the country.

On the same day, DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho sent a message of greeting to Prak Sokhon, deputy prime minister and minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the government of Cambodia.
