According to an official concerned, more than 440 units presented over 1 600 pieces of ultra-modern IT successes and IT products to the exhibition.

The Pulgunbyol Technology Exchange Company exhibited a new version of Pulgunbyol (red star) operating system by introducing bulk-storage data, recognition and vision technologies. Ri Jun, a student of Kim Chaek University of Technology, said that the new version is more convenient for use.

Kim Il Sung University presented such computer programs helpful to education as a system for evaluating actual results of university teachers and researchers and a foreign language learning system "Active Learner".

Also displayed at the exhibition were a tele-intellectual education management system, a triaxial 6 degrees of freedom flight simulator, a mobile 6 degrees of freedom articulated robot and scores of information security products.

Meanwhile, there were a success and experience sharing meeting of scientists and technicians in the field of IT and officials of IT industrial units and a coding contest involving more than one hundred programmers selected from 10-odd major universities and scores of scientific research institutions and IT industrial units.
