National Foreign Languages Competition Held

| Pyongyang, November 13 (KCNA) -- An English, Chinese and Russian languages competition of students of foreign languages schools across the country was held from Nov. 5 to 13 at Pyongyang University of Foreign Studies to mark the 70th founding anniversary of the university. Participating in the competition were some 170 students from foreign languages schools across the country, including Pyongyang Foreign Languages School under Pyongyang University of Foreign Studies, Sinuiju Foreign Languages School and Phyongsong Foreign Languages School. The competition was held in the way of composition, estimation of reading comprehension, exposition on different themes and others. Foreign diplomatic envoys and members of foreign embassies here observed the competition. |
