Invited to the reception were figures of political parties, government, organizations and institutions of Vietnam including the Communist Party, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Association.

Present there were the charge d'affaires ad interim and members of the DPRK embassy.

The participants looked around the photos showing President Kim Il Sung's historic visit to Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh's visit to the DPRK.
