Presented to the exhibition were hundreds of thousands of consumer goods produced by light industrial factories across the country and daily necessaries production units under ministries and national institutions.

The goods newly developed and produced by the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory, Wonsan Footwear Factory, etc. attracted interest of the participants.

The daily necessities made from industrial by-products and idle materials, which suit local peculiarities and symbolize the units, and the goods produced on the basis of the successes in the ultra-modern scientific researches were termed useful.

Present at the closing ceremony were Vice-Premier Im Chol Ung, Minister of Light Industry Choe Il Ryong, officials concerned and officials, scientists, technicians and workers of the units that presented products to the exhibition.
