It was attended by the scientists and technicians in the field of veterinary science and animal husbandry and zoology, the citizens who are breeding Phungsan-dogs, and other people from across the country.

Presented to the show were some 70 Phungsan-dogs selected at the provincial and municipal shows.

At the show rankings were decided, according to the results of preliminary, principal, professional, combined and final screening.

The dogs of residents of Kapmun-dong, Daesong District, Pyongyang City, those of Kim Hyong Gwon County Township, Ryanggang Province and others were termed best.

North Hwanghae Province and South Hamgyong Province took the first place in the provincial standing.

There was a lecture on the standard characteristics of the national dog and on preserving purebred dogs during the show.
