Inspecting the silk-spinning combined shop, rayon fabrics shop and other shops at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, Pak Pong Ju encouraged the workers in their efforts to increase production to successfully conclude this year's drive.

A consultative meeting held on the spot discussed the measures to map out proper management and business strategy so as to make the mill technology-intensive and labor-saving, step up the production of cloth for school uniforms and bags and improve the supply service for the workers.

At the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex and the Chongjin Steel Plant, Pak Pong Ju stressed the need to increase production by putting the production lines on a perfect scientific and technological basis, and urged the relevant units to fully supply raw materials, fuel and electricity.

Meanwhile, he inspected the Komalsan Atlantic Salmon Sea Fish Farm and the institute of hens under the Academy of Poultry Science, where he discussed the issues arising in positively introducing advanced science and technology into the development of sea fish farming and poultry.
